1. Information You Provide
We may process information you enter into the application, including organization details, journal entries, record descriptions, categories, dates, amounts, notes, and links that you choose to provide.
2. Google Account Information
When you choose “Continue with Google,” Google may provide basic account information needed to identify your authorized session, such as your Google account identifier and email address. Google also presents the requested permissions before authorization.
3. Google Drive and Sheets Access
Fiduciary Journal™ requests Google permissions needed to provision, locate, open, and write to the journal workspace associated with your account. The application uses those permissions to provide features you request, including creating or restoring your customer-owned ledger and saving entries to it.
We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising. Access is limited to operating and supporting the application's user-facing features.
4. Technical and Security Information
We may process limited technical information required to operate and protect the service, such as authorization status, session information, error diagnostics, request timestamps, and security-related logs.
5. How Information Is Used
- To authenticate authorized users.
- To provision or restore the correct Fiduciary Journal™ workspace.
- To save user-requested records to the connected Google ledger.
- To maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the service.
- To respond to support, privacy, or account requests.
6. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, authentication, cloud infrastructure, and related application operations. We may also disclose information when legally required or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or the public.
7. Retention
Customer journal content remains in the customer's Google workspace unless the customer changes or deletes it. Application-side authorization and operational records are retained only as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, meet legal obligations, and resolve support issues.
8. Your Choices and Controls
You may revoke the application's Google access through your Google Account security settings. You may also delete records from your Google ledger or request deletion of applicable application-side account data as described in our Data Deletion Instructions.
9. Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Additional information appears in our Security Overview.
10. Children's Privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date displayed above identifies the current version.
